Long story short, my mates had this for about 18 months, hasnt bothered to resit after his ban, has been storing it at a friends parents amd was told to get it to fuck.
I've asked to buy it several times since he had it, and got it from him at a desperate time for £150!

Went over with my towing pole and collected it earlier.

No MOT, No tax, Not running (I know it runs as he had it out a few times with L plates on), Some idiot has removed the aftermarket immobiliser and made a hash of it (Luckily i kept the complete loom when i broke my gsi)

Had a good old poke underneath after the state of my last one and found 2 wee bits need attention.
Has C16 XE as well Drivers seat is immaculate as well!
Plans are to change the loom, get my mate to weld it, new windscreen, MOT it.
Run it for a week or two til i XE my sport then start to make it immaculate!


Going from what info is there the car came up here from Derbyshire.
And the MOT jas been out since last May.

By far the best colour for the gsi imo £150 bloody bargain.

cant beat a bargain, when i bought mine from my mate it cost me £50 by the time i did my bits and bobs i sold it for £1600

Nice mate, i would deffo have had it for that price, i bought an L reg 8v sri with 51k for £82.50 off the bay and made over £150 and i kept the interior and engine

Best bargain was my £80 Nova GSI on 55k, mate had bought it as a project couldnt get it to start, it turnes over ok, found a wire to crank sensor to be broken, joined it and it fired up.

Regretably i sold it to a mate for £400 after doing most of the MOT work, to buy an XE'd Cors.

Aye, no hassles, except my mum phoned me to say the police had been at the door looking for me.
Went to tesco and put a fiver in the car then fucked off without paying, dont know why, tunnel vision was right embarassing going back in, woman was ok, she said recognised me and assumed i wasnt doing a bunk as it was only £5.

Also in the pistonheads ad, it had sport wheels on

Ive seen this car sitting in the same spot for the last 2 years
