Anyone seen the price of these lately?
Seen a couple of 50k mileage ones in decent colours on 52-55 plates for 2.5k
Me and Rach been looking for a replacement for the Polo now it's just clicked over 100k, Rach has her heart set of a Mini Cooper but the money we want to spend would mean another car with 100k.
Having spent quite a time in my mates MG ZR 105 when he first got it I loved it, seats, handling and driving position were lovely.
Obviously same old issues with headgasket but seems more issues with the 1.4 than the 1.8, performance figures of 0-60 7.4 and 134mph not to be laughed at.
Anyone owned one? Experiences?

I'd rather a ZT V8 or ZS V6 personally.
or an MG F or TF.

XPart are importing the parts from China along with having stock of all the old parts from Longbridge, there are 1million MG/Rovers in the UK what the fuck do you think people do now? Just stop using them because they can't find any parts?
Jesus wept you are more stupid than I thought.

Again another stupid comment, you really are dumb. I suggest you go look at the price of Lupo GTi's.

Ok, looks like I'll have to wait until someone has actually owned one turns up and my own experience.

Haven't owned one, but have cleaned a few ZR's and the main thing that has always put me off is how badly put together they are / how cheap the materials used are.
I wanted one at one point but couldn't bring myself to own something that felt so cheap, rattly, fragile.

i'd get one for sure, nice cars.
dont the 160's have toyota engines? if not theres plenty of companies out there who do hg's cheap and use the kit to stop it going again.
theres also plenty of parts out there, most garages use pattern parts anyway even for cars still in production!
