£1495 on a puma
it's probably because my claim hasn't gone through yet as it says i have 1 years no claims on the renewal, when i was meant to have 4.
just done a quote with elephant and put an at fault claim on it with 0 NCB and it was £836.
insurance companies really are twats aren't they bet some people just pay it aswell.

Who is yout current insurer?
I used to be with churchill for 2 years...
When they sent me a renewal for 2nd year it was 400 quid more than their own quote online. I called them, and they wouldnt match their own price! so had to say i wasnt renewing and buy policy online... fromsame company!

i'm with greenlight insurance (a broker for highway/LV iirc).
if i go with another company whats the deal with the pending claim? do i have to stay with my current insurer until the claim goes through or can i switch to another company and just tell them about it and they can put it as a fault claim and then refund me when it all goes through?

Greenlight are good, but only cheap on modified cars I find.
Admiral seem to be cheapest for most people I know on standard cars atm.

it's actually 1397, sorry. still shit for a 22 year old
the reason it seems so high is because there's 2 non fault accidents on there (yes i'm very unlucky) from jan and june 2007 whereas elephant only need accidents up to 3 years ago so would be july 2007.
it does say at fault? NO for my outstanding claim though so i'm guessing the other persons insurance are dragging it out.

I don't declare my non fault accidents, I don't see why it should affect me.

I got my insurance from tesco. There not on the go compare or compare the market sites. They were £2-300 cheaper than any company on the price comparison sites. Try them.
