Well here it is. Saw it on ebay the other week and whilst picking my brother viva up the other week i went to look at it and then on Thursday went and picked it up and did a deal.

On the journey back down the M1 whilst my brother was driving, it was going great and very smooth then suddenly it spluttered and stoped. Had a look about and couldnt see anything obvious so called the AA.

Came out after they got the wrong junction so took longer to get to us. On the back of the lorry and taken to the nearest services where a AA mechanic would be, they werent so had to wait 30 mins for them.

Turned up and really didnt give a shit, didnt check if it had spark, just looked to see if it had fuel which it did and then just basically said nah its fucked, put a V8 in and that was all he said from then on, Prick!

So he took us to Donnington services where a lorry took it back to home.
Looked at it on saturday and all it was was a bolt had made its way loose out of the carb closing the butterfly valve and closing and cutting all the air off so was a simple fix and runs so sweet and very very quiet.

Anyway here are pics

Its a 1970 Vauxhall Viva HB Deluxe for those who dont know with a beasty 1159cc engine

Its very very solid hence why i bought it as its hard to get body panels for these now.

Its not as mint on the paintwork side as it looks in the pics.

Plans are to lower it alot, put my BBS RM`s on it and then fully repaint it!

And also when i have money will retrim the whole interior in black leather with large Diamond stitching.

the amount of looks i get in it is crazy but kind of cool. Young people thinking what the fuck, middle aged people thinking there parents had one and old people remebering ones they had.
