I wouldn't say so. If 4 owners looked after the car better than 1 did if it was different your laughing. Allsorts the 4th owner would have to had thought similar I.e 3 owners in 4/5 years etc and they still bought it

Apart from the standard things, knocking/wining, clutch, smoking. Because you don't know circumstance. There is an 03 fiesta round my way that has been through about 6 of my mates. Runs spot on and well looked after, partly because the first owner works at a body shop and it was his first car so he has a soft spot. You just need to consider circumstance. What u looking at anyway?

Just back from viewing the car and was slightly dissapointed really,it wasn't as clean i was hoping for.
There were lots of small scratches around the car followed by a few dents and chipped paint.
When speaking to the dealer i asked how many owners it has had and he said 3 and another question i asked was how long have they had it in and he said this the first weekend they have had it and its been online for sale for 2 weeks
Also viewed the breeze blue coupe that i was talking about during the week and didn't like one bit,i think its going to have to be the hatch back for me.
Well the search continues

I usually find sportier models have more owners, I tend to buy the sport version of a car and then get bored of it and want something different, I assume thats what alot of people do when buying that sort of car...

Just sales patter, the owners thing he would of fobbed the first owner of as being the dealer so not worth mentioning and saying its just come in hes trying to say its only just come in and wont hang about maybe?

Shame it wasn't as nice as you'd hoped Wooly. Hopefully you'll find a decent one soon
Out of interest what was it you didn't like about the Bertone's? Been looking at them myself lately

Yeah the Europa blue SE2 is the only coupe i would own tbh.
When i sat in the astra today it felt so comfortable and solid compared to my corsa.Definetly time to move on for me i think just debating weather to try and sell my car as it is or break it and put it back to standard, either way im gonna loss out

My first R5 had something like 11/12 owners in 8 years.
Unreliable piece of shit, I blew it up within an hour and a half, then rebuilt it and had it set up on the rollers after running it in for 400 miles. A few days later the bottom end was rattling like a skeleton having a wank in a buscuit tin, so it came off the road to get a Dimma kit.
