does any1 know if those 2 wheel towing dollies are still legal because i was told that the A frame towing set ups are ilegal now ???
just i reckon on of those wouldnt weigh much and it would keep the weight down so that i didnt go over the 3.5 ton limit on my licence
also so i dont need to do my trailer licence ... if i remember correctly.

In theory they are illegal unless used in a recovery situation, due to the fact the cars wheels touching the ground aren't braked and the law is all wheels on a trailer over 750kgs should be braked.
But it's so unclear and changes from officer to officer.

A few people do it on here, you'd probably be fine,
Just depends on the police you could meet along the way and what they think etc. Plenty of motor homes are towing small cars on dollys these days.

Most of the illegal shit comes from people who tow cars that arnt MOT'ed, Tax'ed and Insured. If you dont have one of those, or any, then its very very very illegal.
