due to me taking a job which now means ill be doing 300+ miles a week it looks like my idea of havin a 350z are well and truely shot so it looks like ill be keeping the ibiza for longer 
but would you throw money at a car you dont like to make it reasonable and in the hope it makes you like it?
what i would need to do to make the car semi ok imo...
lower,
improve brakes without changing to a bigger set up as its a pita on mine,
exhaust, air filter to try and squeeze a bit more power from it,
potentially new wheels
so thats a good 2k 'wasted' on it.

Not a chance, buy something decent. leave it standard and spend the money on the fuel bills! IF you want a 350Z buy one, cut out all the uneccesary shit you no doubt partake in and live happily ever after in Jap loveliness.

Buy the 350z for the times youre at home and a 106 diesel for the 300 miles a week  106 is cheap tax, cheap insurance, cheap to buy. Cant work out much more expensive than keeping the Ibiza and spending money on it.

I did it as I got bored with the Astra. Didn't like it at first but after doing a few things to it I ended up liking it!

On second thoughts buy a diesel heap and dread driving it anywhere at all times. Thats quite ridiculouse mpg
