Jsut wondering how many people on here On a Seat Leon Cupra R? I know Adiohead does and so does DannyLad.

Who else?

I've got a Black 03 LCR 210 remapped to 265 with Revo SPS 2. Can't think of anything I'd want to replace it with for similar money, as it's a lot of car for the money.

Edit - Not lookign for another car, really happy with my LCR. I'm on seatcupra.net too. Just need to get the damn swirl marks out of my paintwork!

why do you want another car? if you like your one and aren't in a position where you need to sell it, don't.

Not sure he posted to get suggestions for a new car? more to express his satisfaction with his LCR.

I have a Leon Cupra Sport, 1.8T, with stage 2 revo, filter and miltek decat. Goes very well and im loving it. Love the LCR's to, arent they quite bad on economy though? whereas i can get 48mpg.

Ive attached an image for good measure

I'm thinking of selling up soon. I do love it but it's a little bit low to get into my new house's service road.

Thinking of getting an S3 or TT with the same BAM engine.

My Cupra R on the left (have since fitted new splitter) and my mum's Cupra on the right:

I don't worry about mpg. I could drive it really slow and probably get more but then I wouldn't have bought it, I'd of gone for a Fabia vRS or something.

Mine gets about 25mpg

It does about 60mpg in 6th at 55mph though

So these a good all round car then? Think these look great on CH's. Could be another I could add to list, once the Labia was gone

I enjoy mine. Had a few niggles: ignition coils, speed sensor, EGT sensor, seized brembo, front splitter
oh, and a leaking door (common problem on the whole VAG range), but sorted with some sealant

But I got a round of applause from a Mercedes I overtook this morning, makes it all worth it

I haven't managed to drive a constant 55mph everywhere, so I could not deny or confirm that this was the case

My car can't get down the service road to my new garage. The front is too low for the rubbish bumpy road

To keep the car I could either not park it in the garage, take the front splitter off, or fix the silly road

Also, 4wd would be useful in the winter where I'm moving to.
But I could get a spare set of wheels with winter tyres for this problem.

the 4wd system on the S3 isnt worth the marketting surrounding it

It doesnt do much as and is not true 4wd

It provides a meer 200kg of extra weight to what is an identical car

yeah I know, it's Haldex
but it's still gonna be better than driving an LCR up a snowy hill, then sliding backwards into a main road of traffic

The tyres will be cheaper (17" vs 18"), the interior will be put together properly and it'll still be nippy, especially after a remap

Exactly the same with me. I run mine on Shell Optimax. I tend to get 120 miles out of £20 optimax the way I drive mine, and the commute I do is only 4 miles town driving. Tax is £245 a year.

I have thought about the money I could save going to a diesel, but then I have a drive home like last night (10pm, clear road, windows down) and getting rid of it seems ludacris as I love it!

Embarrased a few things off the lights, I love letting the other car get a couple of car lengths ahead and then overtaking.

I have a platinum grey lcr, really love it. Much much smoother, better built and more refined than any vauxhall I've ever owned. Seems ok fuel wise, get 320 miles out of first tank which is more than I was getting out of the mapped Zafira

First I removed the door card (two torx screws at the bottom and two bolts behind the grab handle).

I undid the bolts around the edge, but just loosened the top ones so it was still held on.

Then I removed the old seal that runs around the edge.

Then I *splirted* silicone sealant (suitable for external use) where the old seal sat, purposely putting too much on so it would *squidge* out when I put the bolts back.

After tightening the bolts I cleaned off some of the excess.

Now it fucking stinks

A bit of water is normal on the sill as the drain holes are on the bottom of the door. It's when they become blocked or the actual seal fails on the door it becomes an issue.
