I went and had a look at a 328i Touring auto on a 2000 plate today in line with my wish to purchase a barge just as a commuter/runaround.

Ok so power wise its not in the same league as the barges we were discussing the other day but it is still a very nice barge.

Steel blue/grey (Not sure what BMW call this paint shade) with cream interior.

FSH and has done 100k.

What does one need to look out for on these?

Its due a service and the dealer said they would carry it out (Im not a fan of this as I always think it will get a skimpy mickey mouse service). Although they are a pretty big and established independent dealer with some serious machinery for sale.

I had a quick look through the service book and it seems its last 3 services were inspection 1`s?

Thus would it be due an inspection 2 and what does this consist off?

any help from those in the know appreciated

Same colour as my Ci!

check to see if the water pump, rad or expansion tank has been changed, mine have all gone in my 328 and it's common apparantly all seem to pack up around 100k
