Why?

I live in Leicester, follow them home and away, as you're supposed to follow where you're from?

Are people not proud of their local team, so they need to support a better team for "bragging rights"?

And everyone says "everyone says that"

If I was going to make a lie up about it I'd just say I was born there myself wouldn't I and moved away Unless this an elaborate plan to really trick you all and my Dad was actually born and bred up here all along!

You're dad is probably from some foreign land where smallness is in the genes, as thats where you no doubt get it from. He certainly isnt from Salford.

Yeah I wish I was tall...

Nobody has questioned Craig and his severe lack of a scouse accent

Primary school, people either supported Man United, Leeds United, couple of Liverpool and Forest fans. This was 1990. I hated the Leeds badge and kit. Man United sounded better and they wore red and had a devil on the crest.

Taking in to account Division One football was in the papers, on tv etc its always there. If it wasn't for the fact that Portakabin (who my Dad works for) sponsored York City I wouldn't have even known they existed!

You might also note that around this time, Liverpool won the league followed by Arsenal & Leeds.

United did however win the FA Cup (1990).

I've been to watch United play around 20 times, club member and ex share holder.

When the debt overcomes us and we get relegated to the nPower Championship I'll still be supporting them.

People either supported Man Utd, leeds or Liverpool because they were big teams..

What happened to the loyalty? The pride of supporting where you're from?

Stop making excuses!!!!! You're a glory supporter end of

Tell that to all the Chelsea supporters up here. And the sudden emergence of Man City shirts

Its always going to happen and its always going to be the teams that win nothing that have a problem with it.

only due to the fact you're older than me..

If I ask some random fan in england or brazil, they will say "england, why would I support brazil if im from here?"

..

why isn't this the same with smaller citys than manchester etc.. because people are glory and always wants to support a better team

doesn't it get boring expecting the same result week in week out? I bet a win is boring for you now
