Busy boy tomorrow, got to go to a few places...

Shrewsbury - SY1 1LH
Lancashire - PR26 7QR
London - W1J 6BD

Question is, which airport would I be nearest in London, so I could fly to Manchester? Is it easier to get tube / train to someone more central?

I've googled it, but 5 miles in London could be 50 miles in time...

Thank you

Edit: I cba driving.

You can fly from Heathrow to Manchester, i've just checked.

W1 - Aparently it's a Mayfair address, I really don't know London very well, not spent much time there. (Apart from Camden and Finchly a few years back )

For ease of getting there, I'd go from Heathrow. Can catch the train from London Paddington, or Piccadilly Line from Green Lane Underground Station, which is in Mayfair.

You can go to London City Airport which is a bit closer, but more of a faff to get to. You'd need to go from Oxford Circus or Bond Street to Bank, then Docklands Light Railway to the airport. Not sure what flights they do either.

London City would be first choice if you can get a flight there, then pretty much all London based airports offer a quick train back into London (Stansted express, gatwick express etc) but it costs a few quid.

Nice one, wasn't sure if you could get places easily from Mayfair. Thanks!

Yeah, completely messed up, holiday was cancelled last week (Gold Trail) so booked another for a day later. So re-scheduled London for tomorrow, forgetting about the other two.

Can't find any flights to Manchester from there, not 100% sure if they even go there?

Heathrow mate, depending on your budget I'd cab it from W1 or get on the tube, but the tube is LONG.

It says 29 mins by car, so a taxi will have to do. Cheers
