Just wondering whats the worse valuation you have ever had for a car?
Just been to Vauxhall looking at some offers on the new car and they offered me a trade in price of £300 for my 1.6 T reg sport which has 60,000 miles on it
I kindly declined the offer!
So whats the worst offers you have had and who where they from?

Not necessarily, they gave my brother more than the price he would have got selling privately, and a fair bit more than renault offered px, was a 55 plate clio 1.5 dci iirc.
Seems to be very mixed reviews.

I was offered around £4,200 for my Astra Sri 150. Not a bad price as it had done 93k and was due a service and possibly tyres. No way i was letting it go that cheap so I sold it after being advertised for 3 days for £6,100.

Yes you can and you'll get more money! but a lot of cant be bothered / dont want the agro.
Remember a dealer has to sell the car in good order so they may have to do repairs, they will also have to valet the car and store it.. There are costs involved and on top of that they need to make a profit to make it worth while..
A T reg corsa with its couple of hundred quid profit could be occupying forecourt space for a car that could have £1,000+ profit.

yes but you will have the hassle of trying to sell it - Depend son circumstances
I needed mine to go and in reality could have held out for approximatley 1k more but would have had to wait for someone who really wanted the car
I also took the tax out of it so got a 11 month rebate

There's making a profit on buying a car cheap, but that's just laughable

you'd have to be deep in financial shit to actually sell your car to them

PS I wasnt in finical diffculty by the way it was sat on my drive collecting dust/rain water etc as i didnt use it

sounds like the market really has changed
the fact they offered me £50 when mine is valued at £3250+ is just daylight robbery haha!
