A new addition / toy to one of my regulars collections. It will be getting used properly and competing, but will also end up being one of the better looked after rally cars out there 
Fresh back from 3 days testing and fine tuning I was meant to be carrying out a full on protection detail on it. But I was informed upon arrival that the client had decided to get some graphics made for it, so advised him there and then it'd be a waste of my time and his money for me to apply decent sealants and waxes.
Never the less it was given a damn good clean up inside and out. Engine bay left as its going for some work tomorrow and is quite temperamental to any liquids going anywhere near it lol.
Prerinse with Autosmart Hazsafe
Tyres / Arches with Autosmart G101
Wheels with weak Autosmart Smart Wheels and tardis to remove old wheel weight glue
Bodywork washed via 2 bucket method, grit guards, Refined Detail mitt and Autosmart Duet
Tar removed with Autosmart Tardis
Clayed to remove bugs, rubber and other fall out with Bilt Hamber Clay and DIY lube
Polished by hand with Autoglym Super Resin polish
Exhaust with Autosol
Glass with Autosmart Glass Clear
Tyres left natural, wheels sealed with Supaguard wheel sealant
Vents cleaned around with cotton buds and G101
Door shuts with Tango
Interior hoovered, plastics wiped down with Autosmart Multifresh, metal work with Autosmart Tango
Few snaps taken in the garage upon completion - the owner had put it away before going out as it's not the most straight forward thing to operate!
Seat is right up against glass so makes doors hard to shut
Nothing particularly spectacular in regards to what I did, but a cool car I thought I'd share with you. Will be getting a bit more TLC once the mechanical niggles have been addressed and it's had graphics applied.

If you saw the rest of his cars, you'd understand lol. Put it this way, I'm there weekly looking after cars that do very few miles in between visits. It's likely I will be cleaning this up after every event too.

Does it just do dry events or does it also get plathered in mud?
Also does it go on gravel as the paint looks in good condition?

He's literally only just bought it, it did 2 track days this weekend and a day with a rally instructor but not sure what that was on.
It's had some paintwork but it is in very good condition, I don't know anything about it's past; I try not to ask too much!

Tbh I expect it will just do mainly tarmac rallies.

Yep emergency cut off buttons - legal requirement when competing iirc.
Couple of buttons in the passenger footwell too - managed to catch one when cleaning - that'd be the bastard loud air horn then

A lot of the time I do, yes. Usually they're ok as I blank plates, blur backgrounds if necessary etc. I haven't blanked the plate on this I know, but it'd ruin the front end if I did for starters lol. And once it's got graphics on it it'll be pretty recognisable regardless!
There's a lot of nice cars I do do and nobody knows about it as I don't take / post pics.

Yeah, most rally cars have a foot operated horn and wipers in the co-driver footwell. I found this out when on a passenger ride in a WRC spec scooby

Nice one mate When you've been saying about a 911 Rally car, I was expecting some brand new massively kitted on coilovers and all sorts type jobby This is still cool though
