Thought I'd post a couple of pics from my first night at the karting last week! I had an amazing night (after feeling slightly nervous beforehand)

It was a 2 hour endurance race, we managed 305 laps in the 2 hours with the fastest lap of the night coming from one of our team members. Came 2nd overall with a 2 lap gap between us and the winners!

Our Team - Haig Transport

Me digging the racing suit haha!!

Cannot wait to go back!!!!

A woman in a race team coming second? Were you there to make the brews and sammiches for the drivers or were there only 2 teams?

@ the shoes.

I sodding love karting, I used to go regularly and kicked arse, I won every single time I went, except for the last one. My mate even got one of his friends down from Scotland who was apparently a stock car champion of some description to try and beat me. He failed.

Last time I went I only came third though due to some dirty tactics. Not been again since.

I just know him as 'Bertie', only met him a few times TBH. Really sound guy. Funnily enough, he now lives round the corner from my old man as my mate knew him through work. He works for Broughtons in Oldham if thats any help, but I think he travels a lot judging by how rarely his van is outside his house?

He used to have a red Mk3 Astra GSI.
