England were crap. Management had a part to play and being fatigued.
I don't think they looked at it the way you are looking at it. Playing in WC and maybe eventually going on to win it has to be the pinnacle of any footballers playing career? None of those players are doing it for the money now imo. They are all loaded with millions in the bank so could retire if they wanted.
But yeah, they should of sat in their rooms in the dark punishing themselves.

I suppose i support the argument that it dosn't really happen in other sports anywere near as much. Rugby yeah they have bad days but never once have i watched a game were not even one of them was playing trying 100%
Some of the shots they pull off are something kids can do better.I suppose i think them being paid so much then the 'Bad days' and bad plays should be very few and far between.This was not the case when i watched it last.

Come on, I've watched enough of English Rubgy Union to know that sometimes they are a complete joke.
Cricket, some of the shots Pietersen plays are farcical. It looks like he can't be arsed.
There is plenty of occassions when people are shown up in sport. It doesnt boil down to passion.
And very rarely do players play badly for more than 2/3 games on the spin.

Yeah Nath but were talking about football mainly.Some of these guys earn 250K a fucking WEEK!! A WEEK man  It dosn't boil down to passion but it boils down to effort.

Pressure happens to everyone, lee westwood in every major championships in the golf on the final day etc

For instance Tim Howard/Ben Foster, both couldnt handle the pressure of playing for united
