Vauxhall released an original single din cd player which is mp3 compatible?

Have you checked ebay, there are other vdo cd players, im not 100 % sure there was any made by vauxhall in a single din cdr500 mp3, as far i know.

Nope. None of them were MP3 compatiably until the CD30 MP3 in the Corsa/Astra/Vecta etc. The double din units. There may however be a single DIN unit from one of the van models, but i expect it will be blaupunk (SP?)branded not Vauxhall own brand.
