I was thinking maybe of a black plastic honeycomb mesh over the I/C or a standard GSI bumper
The engine has been rebuilt to 86.5mm with new mahle pistons
new oil pump
new bearings
Reground crank
Uprated actuator
Forge intercooler
Enlarged / knife-edged tophat
Magnecor KV85 8.5mm ignition leads
Z20LET injectors
Manual boost controller

Looking well chief, what's happening with the long boat?
Is it the pictures or is the turbo cover wonky?

The cover is wonky. Looks nice but needs air in the tyres.

Dare I ask why the throttle cable has a cable tie around it which is then attached to what looks like a radiator mount?

Pretty sure thats because it is Jamie's. Just not his engine.

lol.... guys...
The throttle cable is from a Calibra, so it's about 6" too long hence the cable tie to take the slack out
The turbo cover is just resting on the tophat, I didn't bolt it down yet because I've got more work to do on the inlet.
Its needs the scuttle and mirror putting back on and some other stuff but it's drivable!

Someone likes their Vauxhalls . Are you going to replace the throttle cable with a corsa one to 'tidy' it up?

Yes I will do. This one was just to check the car drives ok. Are they all the same fitting on the TB end?

Not to my knowledge. My 1.4 sport cable had the right end but I had cut some of the outter casing off the cable to make it long enough for the TB. Still using it today even in my Vectra I think too lol.

No, many Corsa's have a ball socket on the end of the cable! You can have my cable if I dig it out, along with the MIG stickers.
