lol, thats just completely fucking insane.

Ha. One of the comments..

Its human nature for youths to show of when with their mates. Most impoverished lads get a cheap hatchback and fit blue lights, noisy exhaust cans on and lower the suspension and fondly imagine that they are superior drivers to everyone else, they think they invented sex too. They are very imature in this country because of the soft ,no rules enviroment set up by present and past governments!

One of my mates just got insured on that same car for 2200, while last year when I passed I could get one for 1,700. And that is his most expensive quote anyway?

It wasn't £17k to insure the Corsa though was it?! That was the highest one quoted on the comparison site. There's a much more reasonable one at the cheaper end of the scale. As said, they just quote silly prices because they don't want to insure you.

We've searched over 100 leading insurers to find you a comprehensive quote for your PORSCHE CAYENNE. In most cases comprehensive cover is actually cheaper than third party.

Its the same reason kit fit want 1,962.97

They just dont wanna insure him.

I got quoted £17,395 the other week on a T5. It wouldn't have been a shock at 17 but at 23 with 5 years ncb

The cheapest I got was £1200 and something and that was with a £500 voluntary excess

Why do I constantly get raped on insurance? I'm paying £700 on the SXi

Basically that company will not want young drivers so just give them a quote they won't take but doesn't want to discriminate.

They should bring back Pay As Your Drive as an option for under 25 men. When Norwich Union were piloting it I was all over it, my insurance on the 2lDTi Astra at 20 came in on avergage at £23 a month or something, £7 of which was a flat fee a month. But then again, we only do about 7000 miles a year so it worked in our favour too, but even at 14k a year you would still be looking at £40 a month, which aint bad at 20!

insurance companies have their own "profile" of drivers they look for, if they dont want you, they just over price you. just try comparethemarket or something
