went and got an engine yesterday its an x14xe running a c16xe inlet and management it turns over but wont start am not getting a spark can any one help or any one it the stoke on trent area come and have a look at it for me please

could be crank or cam position sensors

changed both of them and it kicks in but wont run under its own steam

well it runs with out the plug in the airflow meter but then you turn the key off and the engine keeps on running
