my mate is sellin his one and i am thinking about buying it, i have the money etc, but was just wandering what peoples experiences are with them?

its the 3.0 petrol, with the comm pack, it is black, tinted windows and 22" khan wheels, with 4 new tires which have covered less than 100 miles, and it is a very very clean motor.

cant be bothered with performance cars anymore, got the bike for thrills, just wanting a nice car now.

so i am getting it at mates rates, and he needs to sell up quick as he is moving to Korea as area manager for his work

so any opinions/views etc is more than welcome!!

He wont sell it out of principal though lol

if it was white i would buy it just for the sake of it.
But becusae its black and the reasons above no point, even at mates rates its still not exactly going to be cheap.
you seem to be trying to convince yourslef they are not that bad even when everyone else is sasying they are shit.
They are a good car for image as i said, just a shame its not white

Pretty much useless at everything. They dont even look good. Dont know budget but whats up with a 911, or an M5 / 3, depends how practical it has to be?

Nobody needs an X5 or cayenne or "road going" 4x4, but they are high up and comfortable, people like that.

Transits are noisey as hell and sound like death, I would never ever ever own a van as an everyday mode of transport....ever

All this crap about them being expensive to run

FFS any prestige car no matter if it's a 4x4 etc will be expensive to run

IMO even if the Tax/MPG dosn't bother you the diesel is the way to go! They are big and heavy and no petrol 4X4 bar a SS RR or Turbo Cayenne will feel smooth enough over a diesel.

All IMO of course.
