Where has this car been all my life?

Minus the god awful steering wheel and the mis-matched tyres it's awesome.

Gave it a proper wash and a polish yesterday and it's come up lovely.

Put some new plates on and some clear number plates, had a drive down to Hayling Island yesterday and just loved it, having to rev to extract the performance but still having some decent low down torque.

Yes, this is a good car.

I love them. I'd have one if I didn't hear about them having so many problems.

It does feel fast, it's my first n/a fast car and it is really fun.

Going to refresh the brakes and suspension components and sort out this steering wheel and it's utterly crap but that's it.

They aren't that quick at all but they are good fun for what they are, that is the beauty of them.

People who moan about them are the type of people that believe will never break and that they shouldn't have to pay for it to be fixed and leave it.

And fit 4 odd tyres on each corner

Best car i've owned to date only started off as a stop gap car and 2 years later still got it. Always puts a smile on my face.

Servicing is only a tad higher than I would like but its a performance car at the end of the day? If you use specialists like Mark Fish and Rentech its not too bad. I've only felt the pinch as i've had to do the 24k, 36k, 48k, 60k and 72k within the two years I have owned it!

They are brilliant. A girl had a dyno'd 180bhp one at Ford Fair yesterday and did a 5.75 0-60!

The people who slag them off are usually people who have never owned them or driven one

Hmmmmm I did enjoy my 182 at the beginning but soon got bored of having to cane it everywere found I drove a lot more knobish too! It also had zero pull on the motorway which is a big no no in my book. Best handling car I've ever driven though

Buypartsby.co.uk are cheap as chips for Clio sport bits. I paid £6 each for ball joints and £8 for track rod ends. I only paid £78 delivered for a centre section
