hi has anyone owned one of these? anyone got any feedback on them? how they handle, fuel consuption,trouble's they have, things to look out for on them as i'm looking to buy one of these or the 2.2 cheers lee

yeah i have a turbo coupe. ive got mine sat on a set of JOM coilovers and i think it handles pretty well to be honest.
if it put £30 of optimax in, i will get about 150 miles out of it with a misxture of driving.
just look out for smokey turbos and all the usual stuff

2.0 turbo = bad fuel comsumption
easy to get big power etc with little mods

they fuck up very easy and cost alot when they do  i have just swapped my coupe turbo for a 2.2 sri, wish i had never bought the thing, and personally i thought the handling was shocking, my corsa sport handled better

they dont fuck up easy, and they are good cars if you look after them and dont buy a nail in the first place, and if you are thinking about buyin a 2.o turbo i wouldnt even be worrying about what MPG it will do as it wont be a great deal. as already said tho just check usual stuff and make sure it dosent smoke, on idle or boost

the standard turbos are crap and dont last very long, if they havent already had the vxr upgrade then that is something that you might need to consider

erm what aload of crap /\
99% down to the owner, no letting cool down/warm up
fuel comsumption is still some thing to look for, when not 'on boost' they are realy shit still
my gsi didnt handle at all, yet my 1.8 coupe handles much better....so :S lol

standard turbos crap lol i know of cars on 130k on standard turbo as warren said its down to driver
