i know this is sports day but for eating tuna as part of a gym diet what do people use for sauces with tuna? as in tinned tuna, i really struggle to find a decent tasty healthy sauce to have with it? i am using pasta sauces with it but it cant be the healthiest option? any suggestions

I usually have it plain but occaisionally get the tinned tuna salads that tesco do. They have some kind of dressing on

I usally mix my Tuna up with some low fat mayonnaise, chopped onion and cayenne pepper

Make vinaigrette with some olive oil, balsamic vinegar and a little mustard and have it on some salad. Stick a boiled egg on there too if you're feeling it.

Don't knock it until you've tried it. I have it with everything, it's epic with cheese of toast. It's probably more intended for duck/chicken etc as they are often cooked with fruits but I think it goes with everything, I had it on salad this afternoon with trout in sundried tomato butter.

Oh, when you say tuna do you mean like John West in a tin stuff or bluefin steak stuff?

Do you guys just eat tuna on it's own? I'm on a high protein diet at the moment but I've only really ever had tuna in sandwiches and pasta.

i can eat it on its own in sunflower oil but its pretty dry with in brine

Tuna steaks don't taste that different to tinned tuna imo.

I'm going to try with some vinegar though, never thought of that.
