got my little mx5 for sale
good points:
no rust!
the body is in very good condition
drives faultlessly
really good fun around the bends!
the roof is 100% watertight and in very good condition
white headlight bulbs
the orange reflectors have been painted black(not in pic)
power steering
electric windows
twin hoop rollbar
sony cdplayer with mp3 compatability
the interior is in great shape with no rips or damage to seats
the underside has been waxoiled
nice alloy wheels with good tyres
mot till feb 2011
tax till october i think
bad points:
fanbelt is squeeking abit
passenger side leccy window needs greasing as its abit stubborn
lent the alloys to a mate for a short period of time and he put a dent on one of the rims which is damn annoying (still holds air/drives fine)
someone booted the drivers mirror so its abit wobbly
summery: this is a very tidy uk mx5, these are better then the "Eunos" imports because they dont suffer from rust as bad, and insurance is cheaper for uk cars i found (600 less to insure a uk car then a japanese import!) these little motors will embarrass more powerful cars around the bends with ease.
A lotus engineer said that these are the closest thing youl get to an elise without buying an elise..
a mint example of one of these are valued at 1500-1600, i have priced mine taking into account the bad points
this car is my daily driver up and down the m4 and has done extremely well and very compfortably
I'm only selling because i need a small van for work
1300 or swap for an intresting car
