when starting from cold my 1.2 16v struggles to get up revs and will hold revs at 1500 rpm for a few seconds until it will go properly.
Anyone have any idea why? dont have any eml lights and was serviced on saturday

cause its cold, its a choke, reving the engine slightly higher than usual, to heat it up faster.

Icv would cause eratic idle.

its not that the revs are eratic just that say first few minutes after startup say when i pull out from a juntion it will hold revs and sit go at 5mph for a few seconds.
Bit dangerous when pulling out of junctions
