so do i, they arent that bright at all in the day and i see it no different to a volvo for one, and second it can only make other road users more aware of you being present in turn less chance of a bump!

road users more aware, my arse thats the reason.
the ones ive seen around are bright as fuck and if anything they probably cause more problems to other road users.

ive seen two corsa B's driving in broad daylight with their headlights on (obviously not standard or else i can assure you if they were the lights wont be on) and they were bright as fuck.
i seen a volvo this morning which had its headlights on and i was able to see the internals of the headlights if you know what i mean so maybe the C's lights arent as bad.

better tell bike manufacturers that sc0ott from corsasport doesn't want them to produce bikes with lights that come on at all times because it blinds just him.

Driving around with your headlights on in broad daylight is for guys with small willy's who want to be noticed for no apparent reason.

im not being grumpy im only disagreeing with something. does it make you a grump that you are disagreeing with what im saying. get a grip, not everyone approves your coolness of showing off your HID's during the day. like i said before if the lights were standard yellowish looking ones then 9/10 you would get less drivers turning them on.
do you like being stuck behind or in front of someone who has their fog lights on when there is no fog in sight?

Who said people who have HID's on in the head are trying to be cool? i see plenty of other people with headlights sidelights on in the day, it is at the drivers discression, Fog lights arent, hense why if you are stopped with them on you will be hit with a £60 fine and 3 points!

Well i always thought the purpose of headlights are to illuminate the road ahead when visibilty is poor in low light conditions.
Relying on your headlights to make other road users aware of your presence in broad daylight is just plain stupid and rather OTT.Would you leave your headlights on when you park you car in a supermarket carpark or at the side of the road etc??
