won't let you drive anything over 150bhp until you're 25 at citroen iirc... assume it would be the same there

Where was that I've test driven a 2.2 and a 2.7 C5, both well over 150bhp

When I went to test-drive the ds3 on the paperwork there was restrictions, said you had to be 25 for high power, so the bloke had to check what citroens definition of high power was.

How odd. Wonder if they have changed policy in the last 18 months

Although I already have a "DS3 racing" test drive booked and they are 180bhp.

whats the deal with the test driving. can you just walk into a dealer with a suit on and ask to test drive whatever you want?

I've never had a problem, but i've never gone and test driven something that I genuinly wasn't considering. Also I have always gone during/straight after work so in a suit and turned up in a fairly new car.

Probably very different if your wearing trackies and a baseball cap and turn up in a £300 nail.

Wouldn't mind testing the 207 GTi just so I can compare it to my 206 GTi but I'm not 17-21

Looks like I'll be getting a test drive soon Do I have to act as if I have 20 grand spare though
