This happened last week, waiting for a parcel to come to my home address, order it on the wednesday, but still hadnt received it by the Monday, so i rang the company up and they checked the system and said DHL had tried to deliver it on Friday evening at 7:30pm but for some reason said the consignment was unreachable so was returned to the depot, he gave me the number for DHl and tracking number and i rang them myselves.

DHL told me the same that for some reason it was returned on the friday, for unknown reasons and maybe the driver had run out of driving time, but that it was marked for re-delivery today so should be with me today.

Happy with this I left it, but nothing turned up and it was 5:20pm (last delivery is 5:30) so i rang dhl back up and they said the parcel had been returned to the depot again, for unknown reasons. I was getting a bit cross at this point and started huffing and puffing down the phone. They said they would try to get the depot itself to call me to update me but they wouldnt give me the direct number id basically have to wait. I enquired which depot it was and googled the number for myself.

Rang the Oldbury Depot and they looked it up, oh yes she said, its been returned again let me ring the driver to find out why.

So 10 mins later i get call back, the reason it hasnt been delievered (twice) is because the driver couldnt find your address.

Jesus wept, they have sat nav which will take them to within 100 yards of my house by postcode and my number is printed on the parcel label, for it to happen once, maybe slightly understandable but twice!? i reckon it was a blag and they simply couldnt be arsed to drive all the way out to mine so kept returning it with that excuse, had i not got on the phone to them i reckon they would have just returned the parcel back to the company i oredered it off originally

Who likes my story?

Bit of a waste of money really. You'd need to be with the person to remove said lips, to then return home, to then DHL them back.

I don't think you thought that through did you?

I work for a courier company and this is a regular occurance in the industry im afraid.

I hate it when they give the excuse "lack of driver time" hence why we bonus our drivers NOT to bring any deliveries back

its because they park up in laybys and masterbate steve then realise its time to go home and moan about the hard day at work sitting in a parcel van wanking. Like a budget version of santa claus porn
