what size brake dist are on the 2.2 sri? mine look tiny now i have put bigger wheels on so would like to put bigger brakes on in time, what would i need to put bigger brakes on?

Calipers, carriers, pads and discs from a model with bigger brakes.

not 100% sure but i think you can fit vectra brakes to the astra so put 288's on from the v6

2.2 sri ones are 288 , vectra gsi is 308 , astra gsi is 308 astra vxr is 322

Astra GSI brakes would be the most logical fitement

Can pick up a set of 308mm disks, pads and callipers for under £200 very easily. About £300-£350 for VXR items. Could go bigger with Vectra VXR, they are about 350mm iirc.

You just need the gsi caliper carrier and 308mm discs the calipers are the same.
