Had my shed broken into AGAIN and someone tried to nick my motorbike AGAIN!

Except this time they nicked my mountain bike (about 2 grands worth )

Phoned the Police just for the crack but this time they wanted to send out the scene of crime people straight away (shocking!) but that was saturday its now sunday and they mofo's STILL havent shown up. They told me not to touch anything but theres only so long I can leave the place wide up! They must think people have nothing better to do?

Stop doing insurance scams Davey.

Seriously, that must be annoying, can't believe they'd strike twice, police arent as bothered anymore for callouts like this, not much they can do, unless forensics have a helping hand.

Invest in some better security or move areas tbh

2k bike in the shed... Brilliant! As much as the theiving scum shouldn't touch your things, this is just asking for trouble.

Sounds dodgy as fuck claiming for a 2k bike stored in a shed.

Why should he put it anywhere else?should he put it in the house? that's just like saying don't put your car in a garage, it's asking for trouble.

Yes, in his house. A car cannot just be lifted, it takes a bit more skill than your local smack head will ever have.

Insurance company will question this i'm sure..

I was attacked in Coventry, had something thrown in my face etc, called the Police at 3am when I got home and they told me not to shower or change clothes as they were sending someone to collect evidence.

At 9am, I was still waiting. Called them again and at 10am, someone finally turned up.

Then, a fortnight later I went to the station to get the clothes they'd taken, no problems there... til I got a phone call a few days later to say that someone had stolen my belongings from the station. Err, yeah, that'd be me The plod on the front desk had forgotten to sign the release forms

I think I suggested a shotgun blank trip alarm last time, have that on a door and if someone opens it without unhooking the trip wire, big bang and they shit themselves and everyone knows that you shed door has been opened.

Rape alarms are good and cheap too attach it to the door with the string on the other side hooked over a nail, when the door opens it will pull the string out and hey presto, you cant turn it off unless the string is back in the hole or you smash the main bit of the alarm up. Good luck doing that quick enough for no one to hear.

Had some kids break into the houses at work today, smashing windows, generally causing vandalism, so the police get phoned, turn up sirens blazing, the kids run off and don't get caught. I know it's only a minor thing compared but still. Stealth ftw!

There should be a law that you are allowed to smash their face in if you catch them.

The bike used to be in the house but it eventually got in the way... I thought it would be safe in the shed as I fitted a decent lock, I do however wish I had fitted a ground anchor int he shed
