mates vts used to do 14.5's at pod so not unrealistic,
All he had was a manifold, exhaust and one of them carbon scoop induction kits.

You've obviously never driven or owned one.

There bloody quick wee cars and with the simple exhaust and filter mods that makes a huge difference in them

What cupra? Ibiza or Leon? It'll be the same if not a bit slower than a standard ibiza.

Winning a quarter mile race doesn't always mean it's the faster car. 106's and the like are damn quick off the line, and would almost certainly leave a bigger car (like mine) over a 1/4... But from 30 onwards, I wouldn't waste my time with the majority of them.

Is it black with Orange mirrors and an orange citroen badge?

If it was it was running against a 106 most of the day. Both looked nippy to be honest.

yes theres not really much performance difference between a CTR and one.

my ex gf's sisters bf had a ctr, when ctr's were fairly new and every owner had a massive ego about them, thought he was unbeatable, had a small play and he couldnt pull away

Yea civic must weigh at least 250kgs more than a vts... a mate of mine who owned a vts drove mine and said mine was better at acceleration and handling but not by much..

100mph + is where the civic would edge ahead...

Over a hundred a CTR would easily leave a 106 or VTS.
