i was looking on ebay and saw this, the engine in it looks to me like a 1600 but in the advert the lad says its a 2.0 what do you think ???

Its not a 2.0 there, but after reading the text i do wonder if thats the 'before' picture as he says its been converted and there are more pics to follow?

it looks like a 1.4 or something, also it says 1.2 on logbook so second conversion if it is now a 2.0.
if the engines from a astra gsi it could well be an ecotech and not a xe anyways

No, because that isn't a picture of a 1.2 either.
It's not an SXi on that year anyway.
I would guess it's an X14XE SRi.

he also says it was a 1.2 sxi so why does it have a sport engine in it, i think the lad has put the 1.4/1.6 engine into it and thinks its a 2.0.

I'd agree entirely with that, was also going to say (as Ian has) that there were no SXI's on an M plate.
