i have heard from a few peeps that the law on interior lighting of cars is gonna be changed....restricting the use of BLUE LIGHTS on the dash or anywhere in the car. I have heard about some interior neons being illgal whilst on the road...but Blue light for dash etc is rediculous.

This is gonna be changed on 1st april apparently.

any insiders or knowlegeable peeps know if this is correct?

whoa...just checking....im not saying its true! My sony hedunit hs got a blue dispaly and i want to out blue leds in my console....so i wanna know that im not gonna get pulled for shitty 29p led's

Oh and i know this is a piss take,

but even if it wasn't, all cars issued with the blue lights as standard before the law was pass will have been exempt from this law. Like the rear seatbelt law etc. Just to clear up a couple of pionts raised in the aboe panic.
