A mate of mine has got a fiesta st and the gearbox has given up at 40,000 miles,
do they share the gearbox with any other car?
Is there anything to aware of when changing them ?

Pumas have the same code gearbox but Im guessing there must be a difference?

My mate is in his 40s and the car is used as a run around so a normal box will be fine

It is common for them to fail! 250 is a good price for one

Won't fit, duratec has a mazda bell housing pattern, st170 has a zetec engine badged up as a duratec.
