I know most people tend to buy the conversion bracket and keep the standard power steering on a corsa with the xe/let fitted, but the pipes are messy and take up room in a let engine bay..
Im planning to build another, i want to keep the pas as i prefer it fitted but wondering what other options there are...

EPAS seems like effort as i said about. Saxo/106 pump is the conversion ive done on my 12v, one pipe needs making up for the cost of about £40, relay, fuse, few bits of wiring and its dead simple.
If you need help with it U2U me and il explain/show you pics.
EPAS your need to get a column mount, fusebox gets in the way, and they are more expensive, plus imo they dont give the same feel as a wet rack.

I feel the opposite I think the epas feels far better than the power steering I used to have on its really not that much effort to fit . The fusebox just needs pushing forwards a bit its not a problem

Its standard placed but smaller iirc.
No pics atm, but i used the standard saxo bracket on the studs that normally hold the ABS/SAI stuff.

i've got an electric pas pump from a mk4 astra, much better than the belt driven setup.
