someone has asked me to make a website after seeing mine, but im not sure how to do what he wants.

mine is only very basic, using frontpage and a million hyperlinks.

he wants something like this

where you can choose a manufacturer, then car then engine etc, but i have no idea how this is done.

anyone explain how its done?

He wants a performance list for car manufacturers/models?

It'll be a server-side script (asp/.net/php etc) accessing a DB/table (MSSQL/MYSQL) full of information, it's pretty basic stuff in terms of backend scripting.

Edit - if you need any help then there are plenty of people on (myself included) that'll be able to give you a hand.
