steve has got me wondering from a different thread.

How do you work out bhp per tonne?

My car is 180bhp and 985kilos'ish

how do you work it out?

Not that my car is light. Just wondering out of quriosity

not too shabby. Should be a bit better once its mapped.
Wouldnt belive the 1/4 miles times tho. What about the gearbox ect taken into account

Bhp/weight x 1000

That site uses imperial tons, quoted figures will use metric tonnes

matched inlets (proven 10bhp gain before and after)
full 2.5" decat straight through exhaust
itg filter
removed a/c to take the strain off the engine.

car is only 168 bhp tone!

But the car does 60 sprint faster than what they say and also does a faster quater mile!

Ferrari F430 - 333bhp/tonne

Porsche 996 Turbo - 272bhp/tonne

the vx will be about 340bhp/tonne when the internals are all sorted.

impreza currently 326 bhp p/t, should be 500 bhp p/t when complete

been in a 770bhp p/t kit car and know what il be getting if i want to go any faster

Currently at 120 p/t aiming to be 250-300p/t mark when I'm finished.

Torque per t is better for me, 220p/t at the moment
