My mate has a Corsa C like mine 1.2, not the twinport.

he worked out his MPG to be just 32 to 34 MPG, town driving, is that not a little low for a 1.2, he does have a heavy foot but says the engine has to work hard to get any where, that still seems low or is that about right.

i get that from a 1.8

My 1.2 Clio averages 52-55mpg.

he only does about 5 miles a day max, perhaps this is why

i got 44 on a "driving like a twat" run of 200 on motrways last week 1.3 16v 100 bhp

I managed 505 miles in a Corsa C 1.4 on a tank of fuel (40 litres).

Whats that?

That was driving like Top Gear MPG testing though....

I now have 18mpg Average town driving

wonder if there summin wrong somewhere, runs fine and he has had no problems at all,

Dont really know what could be wrong if there is something

I wouldn't worry about it, I get around 25-30 on my 1.4 sport B, it's the short trips that do it.
