funkin bang bang bang all the time, its a full scorpion system ive tried ajusting the pipes and as the days goby they go back to how they were and band on the rear beam, just wundad is there a decent material which is heat proof just to tie down inbetween just to stop the noise.....ive already tried exhaust heat wrap also but it burnt through in a matter of days. really anoyin noise lol just need something that will stop the sound and not burn away i just cant think of what material to use thought one of you lot would. cheers

no but the exhaust pipe on the end of the backbox is almost touching the rear bumper already so smaller rubbers would mean cutting into the bumper but if nothing else will solve the problem i may have to, the car is down 110mm at rear also so i think this does not help the fact.

welders glove.

try loosning the clamp and twisting the backbox round sometimes thats al it takes

tried this also but eventually it went back to its position before i moved it.

Exhaust rubber cable tied tightly to the beam, works for me

I've got a bit of a mountain bikes tyre cable tied to my back axle, im guessing the lad before me used that to stop the exhaust banging on it, i've had the exhaust thats on it now moved around a bit so it doesn't touch it at all though

I was having a similar problem with the exhaust catching, and saw some exhaust rings in halfords, not sure what they are actually meant for but I cable tied one on to the bit the exhaust was hitting and it is fine, was only about 90p too Its just some hard-ish rubber ring, about 1.5" in diameter
