I can't seem to find a decent forum for help, having starting issues, seems like something eletrical to me.

it seems 306 forums aren't free they want money, and the pug306 net one i joined my account is frozen as inactive for 12months and i can't get any quick replies

well its all started after a service at a garage.

drives 100% fine, but won't start, unless you hold foot on gas for a few seconds after it firing up, otherwise it kicks into action then die without idling at all.

then, when driving to work on some bouncy roads i noticed the STOP light on dash flickering on and off like a loose wire would cause a bulb to flash.

no other problems.

took it back to garage and they fitted a new crank sensor, which made no difference

could be an earth loose somewhere. i had similar problems on my 106 xsi and found my gearbox and driverside wing earth were knackered and loose. i fixed them and it sorted the problems so might be an idea to check them out dude

Same engines as a 206 so 206info might help you.

Stop light could be low brake fluid so check that.

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.
