the engines gained nearly 15bhp since it was featured in total vauxhall a couple of years ago, and the spec is still the same....wonder if it was still a fresh motor when it was featured.
get it gone breaking it id say, shame though as seems to be a very well built car

Irrelevant. Its a £10k Nova. It may well have had £ks spent, but it doesn't mean that its worth that.

so its worth 2k?  its not got a set of speedlines on and tinted rear lights, it has some serious equipment on, a valuation of 2k is quite ridiculous.
i would imagine the gearbox has to be more then 2k alone

am I not allowed an opinion? I'm just stating how most people will value it.at the end of the day its like god knows how many years old ( didnt check the reg) and cars de value....its just how it is

Thats most people though. To someone out there, thats the right price for the spec its got. Just because its a Nova doesn't mean its worth nothing. If that engine was in a kit car would you still value it at £2k??

MINT CONDITION ONE....I.e no rust and low mileage on shell with service history about 2.5k most....its like rickyrockets gsi when it was 8k....noway worth that much

obviously the engine spec in that is good but im saying it from a normal buyers point of vie that would have no clue on them...they will think its overpriced.anyway you're going round and round in circles and its boring me now....ciao!

i dont understand your thinking a standard xe nova is worth 2.5k but a nova with 40k spent on it is worth 2k???? he could sell the engine and gearbox for a few thousand on its own. and i dont think he is looking to sell it to someone that doesnt have a clue
