Going up to York for a stunt driving thing and I'm staying in York Centre for the night Next week

Can anybody suggest any decent Bars/clubs/places to visit on a night out there?

Bars:

Lendal Cellars
Evil Eye Lounge (Awesome random cocktails)
Slug and Lettuce
Oscars
Pitcher and Piano
The Living Room
The Parish

Clubs:

Salvation
Tru
The Gallery

I'd tend to go for Salvation out of the 3 although you might like The Gallery or Tru if its your first time, im just bored of them

The bars I listed are all in the same kind of area, its the posh bit.

There is a cheap and cheerful route too which will get you off your face for half the price but as you as just visiting you may as well splash out and see the nice places and all the fit posh birds in short skirts

Reflex!

I ended up in there after going races!

York is quite a good night out though, plenty of places!

Noooooooooooo that place is hell and full of desperate 40 year old birds. Its the type of place you'll find Marc hanging about in

Does have a really shit revolving dancefloor though. Id have included that in my cheap and cheerful route however

The Parish
Living Room
Slug & Lettuce
Reflex

Those are only I can recall really!

Hit Reflex and Flares if you want some easy older gash then

I find its usually an awesome night out where ever you go though, there is bars everywhere, you cant walk far without finding one.

A good route to follow would be this in this order:

Varsity
Lendal Cellars
Evil Eye
Vodka Revolution
Blue Fly
The Parish
The Living Room
Salvation

That should see you pretty fucked and skint

Your in the ideal place for the Micklegate Run which is the cheap and cheerful one

If you finish at Salvation its about a 10-15 min stumble to Blossom Street.

Ill do you a little map of both routes in a sec

Green route is the expensive posh route, Red is cheap one. Starting at the spots.

The A is around about where you are staying

Its about the same number of bars, just a bit more spread out From the top of Micklegate theres about 6 bars and 1 club i can think of

The bit where the line goes up on the green one is just to get to Evil Eye but i think its worth it just to try one of their cocktails.

One of the first bars on Micklegate is called triples for singles, its a pretty brutal way to start the night as you have to get a triple Vodka/Whiskey/Rum something so you're fucked before you leave

Triple for singles sounds fun

Can you suggest anywhere for Decent Grub? Someone in work told me of a place called 'ha-ha' (?)

I usually just get myself to a wetherspoons for a beer and burger meal

Not been in Ha-Ha, meant to be good but pricey, Oscars is nice but it gets rammed on saturdays.
