so i cleaned my icv and the pipes on my xe the other day and it idles better but when stopped it drops now and again like not a perfect idle and when i dip the clutch (approaching traffic lights) the revs drop and it revs to like 1100 -1500 then idles ? proper pain in my ass

change the idle control valve if there is one?

there really expensive it idles better now aswell

might have an air leak that would cause it to rev itself up

it only revs itself when i drop the clutch ? and the idles not perfect

My old sport used to rev by itself all the time. Changed all the usuals but it turned out it had a bad earth on the inlet manifold. New earth cable and sorted itself.
