Just wondering what to look out for when looking at these? Its done 52k miles on a 04 plate. Tax'd till Decemeber 2010 and tested till June 2011. Full service history, Up to date service book. Says "Mint" Its up for £3,699.
Anyone got any info about these?
Thanks

Good car. Just as fast as a 1.4 sport and loads more eco. Sit nicer on the motorway too!

Heard alot of horror stories about high pressure fuel pump, and diesel injectors going! Dunno how true it is but I was looking for one and was put off by this!! With that mileage I wouldnt worry too much.

alot faster than a 1.4 sport they are a very torquey engine, it was the old dti engines that suffered only thing i have heard go is the headgaskets.
the 1.7 cdti are a very good car. get a dtuk remap/tuning box and you will be scaring some of the big power boys!

Yes the DTi's are slow as fuck, I have the 2.0Dti in my Mk4 Astra, produces 95bhp and 150lbft Pitiful really for the size of the engine, loud as hell as well;

It was nice, Apart from its been hit on the right hand side wing and door and repaired and spray'd really bad! The paint was like touching sand paper!
