Well, not so much PS3 but HDMI help please. I have the PS3 plugged into the tv (Sony Bravia) via the scart lead that comes with it and get a picture using AV1 preset channel on the TV. I was advised to get a HDMI cable to help with a better pic so i purchased one with rave reviews from amazon. Plugged it into the PS3 and into HDMI 2 on the back of tv. Changed tv channel to HDMI 2 on the preset options and nothing. Get a black screen with 576p in the top left. Can get all the sound from the game just no picture. What am I doing wrong?? Any ideas??

the ps3 is set to scart rather than hdmi output. i cant remember how to change it though

This or plug both cables in at once and then go on to av channel nd go to seetings, then display settings, the. Go to hdmi and hit ok. Change channel on to hdmi channel and it should be there thrllen save these settings. Then it will give you the option to adjust the audio output so go into that and select hdmi then click right and ok and that should be ok
