My younger brother has 1997 Fiesta Zetec 1.25, when lifing of the clutch after changing down a gear the car revs high and sometimes sticks at 3500rpm for a second or two, it sorts itself and isnt doing much harm, just looks like he's riding the gas pedal when he isnt.
Think its a clutch problem? maybe not disengaging (sp) when its meant to?? Any idea chaps? Its not an expensive car so he doesnt want to spending alot getting fixed....wondered if anyone knew what its likely to be and how much is he looking at?

broken wire to the power steering pressure sender plug, common problem,

look for a white plug in the PAS lines at the front of the car near the drivers wheel
