Mum and dad have just dropped this fire off for ebay but they are not even selling at 99p!

Whats the price of brass these days??

Yeah. Would imagine brass to be a little less. I'd strip the fire down so you just have the brass parts aswell.

i wouldn't say old fashion. just traditional. that'd work well in a 1930's household or some asians.

Surround is quite thin in fact it might be plated?

The 2 bottom bits are quite thick and chunky...

Round here copper is £3500 per 1000kgs, not sure about brass though,
