More and more people these days seem to post their problem threads in General Chat instead of in the correct Help Zone forum.

At the moment I can see at least 3 threads on the first page of GC that should be in Help Zone, I'm sure I'd find more if I looked through the other pages too.

Why is this? Is it a "I'll get a better reply in here" mentality or something?

As above, I'd do it if I wanted a prompt answer, 95% of the time it'll go in help zone though.

I am entitled to have views and opinions, just like yourself.

I am talking about HELP threads not non-car related threads.

I posted this thread in here because I am talking about General Chat.

Time of the month is it mate?

Its because nobody reads the help zone, I usually forget about it too.

^ this is the main reason, but tbh you'll get a reply at some point usually. It's just annoying when there's a thread in help zone but because the person didn't get the replies they were hoping for they post it in general chat, even though they get told the same thing.

I think ive posted help topics in general chat maybe twice. I usually do it when i get no response in Help or when i need an answer the same day. Im tempted to post a thread at the moment as ive put one up in help and had nothing and i need to fix my car today or atleast in the next day or two. If it gets deleted by admin then so be it but as i need a response ASAP it seems a logical thing to do whether its the wrong section or not purely because theres more "traffic" in general chat.

They should be moved to help zone but as I can't do it it's pointless replying, there's never anyone online that can do it at the time either.

I can see why people do it, as I'm guilty myself. Help zone simply isn't as busy as GC.

i did this with my water problem..

i never look in the help part, even tho i will help if i can..

if we had a 'new posts' button that listed all the new posts it would be different..
