Seems a bit crap power wise and not exactly a decent car it's being put in either is it?
Don't mean to be a twat but to me it's a blande & boring car with a big underpowered lump in it?

The Omega was always designed to take a V8 anyway. Opel made a prototype, but it never went any further than that.
Loadsa stuff on google about it. Etc

Why is Omega not a decent car?

It's hardly underpowered, it's not got a great specific output, but 325bhp isn't exactly a small amount of power for an omega.
It's not a particularly heavy engine either, a lot of it is aluminium.

Thats the exact reason Lee (the owner) went for it, we showed him that and he gave the go ahead.

You ever driven anything with a torque curve that means you dont need to change gear?
I doubt it weighs 2 tonnes anyway

Early ones are all 3.0. Later ones are 3.2.
I think there may have been some 2.6 later ones too.
Omega does weigh about 2T iirc.

It weighs the same as my t5 (which is nowhere near 2000kgs) but has nearly 100bhp and 100 lbft more. I don't have a supercar but its certainly not slow so I could imagine that will fairly shift!

Eck I'm not saying the car's slow, I'm just saying for the size of the engine you'd think it should produce more, your T5's engine is more than half the size? yet still produce's 2/3's the power this LS1 does?
Moron U still mad bro?

It's not all about figures. Bet it drives well! I would imagine a vtec or bm S50 in that would be fucking shite, it's too big to be driven like a hot hatch.
In USA the Omega was a Cadillac iirc looks basically the same but had a weird felt roof cover and the light cluster at the rear is 1 piece, I bet the caddy had a v8 in it at some point in model life
