astra gsi insured for £375...

get a astra coupe 1.8, same price

corsa c 1.8 sri want an additional £40 over the astra for the rest of the year

is it me or is that backwards thinking

I would guess the proportion of younger drivers who smash up Corsa's is higher than those who smash up Astras.

Risk factors, insurers don't tend to use performance as much as a factor as they used to.

Young lad in Corsa = Accident waiting to happen

Surely other things are taken into account aside from driver risk. Do people steal Corsas more than Astras then?

I remember years ago insurance on my V6 Calibra was considerably less than on my old 1.4 Astra

my insurance would be £1400 on my 1lire corsa which is a 1997 R reg,, how stupied is that why would you pay that much for your first car?

get parents on quote with me as a named driver goes down to ..... £400 :/

I can insure an m5 for less than a 182, and a mk4 golf gti turbo for less than my 1.4 Sri. Astra gsi is still more than the golf and Corsa though

You'll probably do more than £1400 worth of damage if you crashed into someone, especially if there was some personal injury.
